Make sure you have restarted the Domino server at least once - there is a case I have seen on initial install where the HTTP process will not load traveler properly. but you always get an error message in that case so this might not be your issue.
What exactly are you seeing when you browser hits your server URL for Traveler? Blank page, error code, page not found??
Are there any errors coming out in the Domino console?
Are there any errors in <domino data dir>\IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT\traveler\logs\NTSErrors* or NTSServletErrors* files?
